You're very welcome, and Hanspuppa is very modest.
He is indeed an expert in these matters. ![]()

Hello calvert48, I took a look at the Bell Sympatico 2 Wire Gateway and it appears to be a "G" version router.
This should work very well with your wireless adapter card, since it is a "G" model as well.
This is a DSL Modem, but should work just fine as you mentioned.
Just follow the instructions that come with the Sabrent Wireless card to connect to the Bell Sympatico 2 Wire Gateway, and you should be up and running wirelessly very soon.
Please click the White Kudos star on the left, to say thanks.
Please mark Accept As Solution if it solves your problem.

Thank you so much. You have been a terrific help to me and will allow me to move forward on this. I am still a novice when it comes to tech and in my grey years I want to tax my brain and this sure does.
Thank you again for all your help.
Regards,

Forum:
I have 3 pci slots left open on my xw8200 and they are pci (legacy) (1 slot) and pci-x 100 (2 slots).
I am trying to install a Linksys WMP300N Wireless Adapter. After it is installed my xw8200 will not boot. I take out the card and the computer works fine. The WMP300n is not an express card ( I have the x4 & x16 both occupied. I have no other ideas as I did a chat with Linksys support and they said it should work in any available PCI slot.
Has any one out there had this type of experience.
