Iv  taken my hard drive out to back up from my HP g5350uk (MS-7613 (Iona-GL8E) and had to move some leads , now I cant remember where to put them :smileysad: anyone have a picture by any chance so i can see what goes where and yes i feel very stupid

7tm,

It's easy to divide your quest in two searchs, mainly Power and Data.

Power:

Your g5350uk has a typical 300W 5188-2625 PSU. Pinouts are there: http://www.power-on.com/ea350u.html

Note the flat Sata power plug. It's seen here:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812104652 as the flat black plug.

Data:

Your g5350uk has 4 Sata data ports. The lower numbered port is typically your hard drive.

If you just pulled the cables off the hard drive, then the plugs are dangling in the case.

Hey thanks for the reply . It turns out they where the usb cables so I took a few guesses and it worked luckily . Unlike the hard drive I cloned . Next time im gonna take a picture :smileyhappy:
