If you are running Windows 7 try the following;
type "msconfig" in the search box at the bottom of the start menu
click on the "boot" tab
click on the "Advanced options" button
uncheck the "Maximum memory" box
click "OK"
That should do it

Hi,
It's a limitation of the "FreeDos" OS.
Windows 7 32 bit might get you to 3.5 GB max usable. Windows 7 64 bit would make all of the memory available to the OS. Both versions of Windows might see less if memory is set aside for other uses in the BIOS.
If you are running VM then the amount "carved" out for the VM OS is all that you are going to get.
