Are there any spare SATA power cables from the pv7-1240 power supply? I would like an answer before disassembly to find out. I would like to install a second SATA hard drive. No question about the data cable, but power??

Hi,
This posted procedure for the p7-1240 step 6 to step 7 shows an extra sata power plug. If one is not present then you could use a sata Y power adapter.
