  • My problem is when I call, (which I have done 3 times) they say the SN is invalid? if is is still under warranty, I would like a replacement, this is labeled as a Famous Maker, note the globe on the sticker, would someone from HP, please take the time and look up this SN, the phone support is not working, thank you, took it to a shop, they said no signs of voltage on the -5 volts wire. PSU has solid green light on back, hit the power button, all fans run for 1 second, nothing more, Why can't I post a pic of the label?

Re: bad PSU no -5 volts, no help on phone

model # on the sticker is TS-4251-8H-W8EN is not the model number.

Is there a product number?

It is very simple, and it's not inside the case.

The model # is on a tag. This tag is attached to the side of the cabinet. The model # can also be found on the front cover. Otherwise, I suggest you type "system" into the search box".

Hi,

When contacting HP you need to be prepared to give them the product model number and the product serial number.  The below links will give you that information.  Do not post the serial number on this forum for your PC.

How to Find the HP Model Number and the HP Product Number or let HP automatically find your PC model number and HP network attached printers.

Once you have the proper information then contact HP support. HP's support number is 800-474-6836 or 800-HPINVENT or online here.

Check your warranty status here.

If you still get the run-around then post back here and we'll have your issue escalated.

Be patient, we'll help you through this issue.

As you stated it was listed at NewEgg, why did you not supply the link?
