Hi - I'd like to upgrade the A6-3600 in my p7-1107c to a A8-3870k. Can you confirm that this is ok?
The A8-3850 is the best/fastest listed on the spec's
If its not possible to install the 3870k could tell me why?

Thanks for the reply - i have read the specs and understand that the recommended upgrade is the A8-3850. However, i don't see why I can't fit the A8-3870k. Read that it may be down to the fan mount. perhaps i should go for one of the cup motherboard packages and can then install discrete card with integrated graphics enabled.
