Hi JBaker,

Your PC is only spec'd with a 250 watt power supply so installing a discrete video card will require a power supply replacement.

Please tell us what your main applications are and the intended need for a video card.  That will make a difference in the video card and power supply recommendations.  What is your budget amount?

Review this posted document for background information.

Hi,

The following will work for dual monitors:

Option #1

This Corsair CX430 power supply is $25 after rebate.

$50--->NVIDIA GT 430 9.6 GB/s --single slot width

$65--->NVIDIA GT 520 8 GB/s -- single slot width

$70---> NVIDIA GT 430 22.4 GB/s – single slot width

$80--->NVIDIA GT 440 25.6 GB/s -- single slot width

These HP 'how-to" articles should be helpful.

Option #2

Another option is this AOC USB monitor. It's not a high performance solution.

Option #3

Yet another option is to use a USB to  (VGA or DVI) adapter.  It's not a high performance solution

If you need a gaming solution then I can recommend a bigger power supply and a bigger video card.
