Hi !

 

Can I replace my 2 RAM memory (weak), 512MB 1Rx8 PC2-5300U-555-12-DO 240PIN DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz speed,with

4 pcs of 1Gb memory of the same type, but with´a speed of 800 MHz ?

( I have 4 slots, as you know.)

Below is the link to the memory upgrade info for your PC.

You can install 4 x 1 GB of PC2-6400 memory, but it will only run at 667 MHz, which is the fastest speed the Intel 945 chipset will allow it to run at.
