hi about one year ago i brought a hpe 115sc machine, and its a great machine but now i have one problem. my cpu is at 82c at 100 procent and im not sure what i should do about this.
i would like to know how to fix this and if i open the case will my warrenty be void?
and btw hp support wont accept my serial number.

Frugl1, welcome to the forum.
I don't believe that the warranty will be voided if you open the case. Simply be extremely careful. You should always discharge any static from your body by touching the metal in the case. If you cause damage it will not be covered.
It sounds like it will be necessary to do a thorough cleaning. Dust is normally the cause of overheating; especially in smaller mid-size cases.

You need to get it opened, clean out the dust using canned air. (Also read the instructions to lessen liquid being sprayed). Never use a home vac. Service Manual:http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01835749.pdf
Keeping in might static electricity, keep yourself grounded. Remove the front cover, and inspect for a grill at the bottom. Typical HP airflow is from this grill thru the cabinet, and out the rear mounted fan. Clean all fans.

i have cleaned out dust and its is now runing 80c in prime 95 not much better.
