The fastest processor that can be installed in the d530 is the Pentium 4 3.2 GHz Northwood 800 MHz FSB 512 KB L2 cache.

For a video card I used the low profile with low profile mounting brackets, either a nVidia GeForce 6200 8x AGP card or an ATI Radeon 9600 8x AGP video card.

You may still be able to get such cards in used but tested and working condition on eBay.

I only use HP business PC's and I never play video games on any of them other than the games that come with Windows.
