looking to upgrade psu, case, and add front pannel 5.25 fans.

i own a hp pavilion  p6310f. and i am lookign to upgrade my psu to hande the power of extra fans and a upgraded cpu cooling system, i also need a case that would fit the  p6310f alone with aditional ports so my above pci mounted fan is moved off from above the pci so i can use that slot. and lastly i need to be able to add startech cooling fans to the front. i dont need a fancy case just something bigger but similar looking to my default hp  p6310f case style

Hi,

Look over this Rosewill Challenger case. It's not very expensive and it allows you to mount the PSU intake down as an option (on a hard surface is recommended as carpet might cause air flow issues).  Be sure to consider the width of the case when buying a cooling system as some of the air cool heat sinks are rather tall.  This case has lots of large cooling fans.

The existing media reader might be an issue (finish and fit look).

I an using the Rosewill Future for one of my PCs but I see that it is out of stock at Newegg.

the rosewill case looks promising am i able to off set my mobo by default it has 2 pci-e and 2 pci port s and the fan i use mounts above my pci-e slot. i would like to offset the fans so i can install a sound card and a usb 3.0 pci-e port

Hi,

According to the details listed for Rosewill case, you can add two (2) additional 120mm fans to the side panel that opens. I am not sure that you will need the extra fans but that is your decision.

If you have heat concerns then consider the following:

  1. Use a high efficiency power supply with at least a 120mm fan or possibly a 135 mm fan to help cool air move through the power supply.
  2. Use a water cooling CPU heat sink.

Good luck!  I think you have some decisions to make.
