mother board

AMD Athlon XP 3200+ 462 Processor CPU with fan I have an HP pavillion. Would like to know if this set up would fit and work OK.

Most if not all HP consumer PCs need a microATX motherboard. They usually measure 9.6" by 9.6"

 

What model PC and you using?

I have two  519 J 's   Ist one fan started to run all time then , hard drive stoped working, and put in another one  fan still runs all time and now it only stays on for approx. 4-5 min. then shuts off.

Download Coretemp and monitor the processor temperature.

 

Look in the Event Viewer log for critical errors.

This is the motherboard for the HP 519.dk.  Is this your motherboard? If yes, then look over the supported processors. The bios will dictate what processors are supported.
