My wife and I have a two computer network connected via a DI604 router to a DSL modem. Our problem, which may not be a result of this installation though the timing is right, is an almost continuous 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage'. Refresh invariably brings the page up on the first try but it is still annoying. We tried Firefox - same thing. After Googling this problem and seeing the myriad solutions, we may be looking for a needle in a haystack but suggestions would be most welcome. Our security package is McAfee and the router has a nondisable firewall.

Connect PC directly to modem. If okay, then add router. Again, connect via LAN cable and check for problem. This will let you know if the router is at fault. There should be a button on the router to reset to factory default.
