I was having all kinds of problems...vista often woudn't wake from sleep, windows or ie would freeze up, etc.

 

Tech shop determined motherboard bad.   Replaced ( non-oem part, I suppose).     Works well now, but power button functions a litte different.     Previously, when I put it to sleep with the keyboard sleep button, it would be steady amber.   Now, when I put it to sleep, it just goes to flashing blue.     Also, the keyboard sleep button will not wake the machine up.  I must tap the power button to start it up.  

 

Is this just related to the different board, or are there settings I can change.
