suddenly lose my audio driver and cannot be re-installed

justnow i lose my audio driver, when i re-install it back, appears a comment: "driver installation failed: could not find the MEDIA device for this driver"

comment of install

 

 

is there anyone know how to solve this problem?

Hi

 

You have a couple of options as I see it please try these steps might resolve your issue.

 

1) Try doing a system restore on the unit where the unit was working fine.

 

2) Try updating sound driver & Bios from HP website.

Thx for your comment, appreciate that!! i did, i had restored my system and also try to install driver sp32646.exe and it's failed, too... :smileyfrustrated:
