Hi..
Anyone who knows if its possible for me to upgrade the ram on my Pavillion a210.dk. I have borrowed 1 gb. DDR 400, 3200 mhz, CL 3. Can they be used on my MO. without destroying it??
please help

According to your PC's motherboard specifications :
Memory Type DDR
Memory Speed PC 2700
Memory Sockets 2 DDR-DIMM
Maximum Memory 1 GB DDR 333/DDR 266
Sometimes a board will actually take more than what HP lists as the max - but I would not go over that amount... Not unless I knew for sure that the board took more and not without upgrading the power supply. I figure HP tests the system and there is good reason for why they don't want you to go over the max.

To be safe, I would use 2 x 512 sticks. I wouldn't try to put in 1 GB unless I had an extra one lying around and wanted to see if it works.
