I have a webcam hd3100

cannot seem to get the microphone working- everything else is working fine

using with windows 7

I also canno tmake the Microphone work - at all. Doesn't record in sound recorder - nothing. I also can't get the theing to broadcast over Google+. I can see my own image with the Arcsoft software but that's it. And the microphone is dead dead dead. I think this entire unit is defective.
