I have an HPE-570t that I got a few months ago to replace my 5 year old Dell. I have always used Dell's but gave HP a chance here. I have had nothing but problems so far. My video card went bad within a month, they sent a new one. My video drivers crashed every day and I had to do a total system restore and lose everything to get them to work again. Now my video card is going bad again and the fan is making an awful grinding noise. I called HP again, they were supposed to send one out ASAP as a replacement. This was on 8/17. They told me I should have it by 8/19 at the latest, maybe even next day. Well, today is 8/21 and it is still not shipped. I am so sick of calling HP and talking to different people with different answers. I wanted a refund after a month but was refused since I was just outide the return period, even though I had problems since the start. This computer has been awful. Now, my browser locks up constantly when my shockwave crashes, something that NEVER happened in 5 years on my old Dell. EVERY DAY it locks and I need to reboot.
All I wanted was a refund or replacement since I had so many problems, but was refused. I should not have to spend every day calling HP and trying to get them to fix problems that keep coming back. This has been the worst computer I have ever owned, and would love to just dispute the charge on my credit card and make them take it back. HP has shown no care at all when I have problems, and I will NEVER buy another HP again.
I wanted a DIFFERENT video card to replace the one I have had so many problems with and was told that cannot happen because the comptuer is confiugured for that specific one. Well, that is total BS, I have replaced video cards in many comptuers with no problems and now they tell me it is not possible? Just more lies!
I will make sure nobody I know who buys computers will ever touch an HP.
