Re: After a While watching Dvds slow down

When the cpu and video chip have to do a lot of work, the heat builds up. Try cleaning out the fan area with a can of compressed air in the reverse direction of the normal air flow.  Buy and use a notebook cooling pad. Just to test the theory, point a house hold fan directly on it and see if the time increases before the cpu starts to throttle back in order to protect itself.

Re: After a While watching Dvds slow down

Thanks for the reply, I'll try cleaning it, but It only happens after I exit full screen , e.g watching youtube video on full screen, video starts to slow down, I close full screen, and very thing is still slow, like moving the browser around ... or even minimizing it, its like slow motion.

and sometimes when I'm playing video games in full screen, it slows down after 10-20 min aswell.. my internet connection is fine.

It still would have been nice to try the fan to make sure heat was not the issue but my second solution would be to update your bios and video driver. If you want me to find it for you, post the operating system and 32/64 bit?

If you are using window 7 64 bit:
