Cannot get my newer webcam to work..missing something

I had to take off an uncompatable webcam I used to use on XP and then like an idiot, I iinstalled it onto my windows 7 brand new HP computer. I then had two webcams on it, but now, the older driver or whatever will NOT uninstall, and my new one, HD HP webcam that is on here also now, well, my disk is either too messed up cuz it is scratchy, or whatever, but either way, I want the old crap off of my new computer of the old logitech webacm, and I want to be able to use all the features of my HP HD webcam. How in the world can I get this old stuff driver, or whatever it is, I noticed it has installshiled on both, but if I try to uninstall the logitech wecam, it freezes up and the new one installs up to 85% and that is it, and it freezes as well. Pleae, if you can, tell me exaclty how a stupid person like me can get this thing off of my windows 7 computer? I love the HD webcam but am not able to use it....
