Hi, here is what I am using: a6430f PC with AMD 64, Vista, NVIDIA.
Now every time I boot up my pc, it says " windows is loading files". Then it takes me straight into system recovery. From there, it tells me that the problem cannot be solved on its own, none of the repair options help at all. So it leaves me with two choices, 1: shut down, 2: restart. I also cannot get into any safe mode at all.
I would also like to know if I used my backup disks for the computer, will my data be wiped out or should I move all my data in some way? Thanks in advance.

The HP recovery disks do have an option to save your data.
