I currently do not have access to a comp with BIOS v7 hence could you attach few photographs of the BIOS screen specialyy the boot from devices screen. It'll help me a lot.

I'm not familiar too much with the these processes, so this is the only picture I knew to take.
I will be going to bed after this and hope to hear from you tomorrow.
I can take more pictures tomorrow, if necessary.
Thank you for all your help.

Am able to view the pic now. Thanks for that. Please follow the instructions below:
1. Please perform a power drain (Disconnect ALL the cables from the computer including the power cable and press and hold the power button for approx 30 secs)
2. Then connect only keyboard, mouse and monitor, and then try booting the computer. Try restarting the computer and check again. Please dont connect anything apart from the above said devices.

I have done the power drain, booted, and restarted with only the monitor, the keyboard, and the mouse connected.
All of those functions worked as they should have, but then it has been doing that since I unplugged one of my external hard drives, leaving only one plugged in.
I'm still wondering about the BIOS update.
Should I try that now?
Thank you for your prompt responses.

Having read some of the BIOS update horror stories that I found on this site and others, I'm not so sure that a BIOS update is wise, considering how many failures I've had and the catastrophic results that others have had in trying to do so.
Apparently, there is a way to back up the BIOS, prior to the update so that the machine is not rendered useless.
I will not attempt an update until further instructions.
Thank you.

I would like to have a resolution to the BIOS updat problem, however, I don't wish to render my machine worthless because I made a mistake, so a little step by step would be helpful
Thank you.
