There could be an issue with the operating system being corrupted or the Ram on your computer is bad. Do you have blue screens when you start? and you can also trying running a F10 diagonstic test to make sure the hardware is fine.

If you don't have any blue screen errors, then I believe you have a software issue. You can always use the F11 key to recovery the system back to its original factory settings. I have attatched the document below

does anyone else have any susjestions? like a HP worker? or expert? (not that i dont trust you. i know that your probally right but i want more susjestions, while the expert thing is on)

The "F10" thing is specific to HP, although many other manufacturers do something similar.
Basically, it makes the computer boot up a special environment that has diagnostics in it. This has nothing to do with the version of Windows you are running.
When you get the BIOS screen that says things like "F2 for boot menu", and so forth, there should be a note about hitting F10 for diagnostics.

there is no place for running tests. i hit f10 at startup and it's the factory default thing that restores my computer...and are you shure that it is software? cause i think it is a hardware problem. i have read my minidumps and they all say it is caused by hal.dll anyone have any susgestions? i really need this fixed. thank you
