I di the update and it said unsuccessful. I still don't understand where my webcam went to: and also, once I do get it back, how do I access it? Never used one before

I also get the error 259 when I try to install this update and my p6310f doesn't have the MS update file KB976972 .  Maybe there is another update file that I need to uninstall?  Anyone know which one it might be? thanks, Darrell
