HP SUX -- I have filed a BBB complaint against them, but I can't do it alone -- so if you are pissed or just as pissed as me, then putting a BBB complaint would be a step in the right direction because HP CUSTOMER SERVICE doesn't care. They claim to have core values, but TALK IS CHEAP -- and the consumer needs to fight back.
PUT YOUR BBB CLAIM IN TODAY

Well, right now I'm trying to decide if it's worth the aggrivation to try to get HP to fix this, or just cut my losses and replace the motherboard myself. Lucky for me, I have a cousin who would likley do it for me, if I provided the money for the parts.

PALO ALTO address. If BBB gets flooded with complaints... i think eventually the address thing becomes irrelevant since the issue is with HP (US) and I am sure BBB knows how to reach the higher ups.
ALSO, I am writing emails to MSN, and other media outlets about my issues. I am also referencing to 95MUSTANGS youtube clip since MSN loves to air those on LIVE TV. They also link news to MSN.com which can catch the audience at large as well.
BTW, if for some reason HP eliminates this my account from this forums because I am putting them in the spot light -- you can all reach me at<text removed for privacy>-- use the subject line HP VICTIMS or something of that nature so that I know it's not spam. I have a feeling sooner or later they will start cutting forum users off to cut off our momentum.

Keep pushing for HP to fix your issue, get a case manager assigned to you to help out if you don't already have one. I did that on the advise of folks from this board, and I'm on Day 3 of my replacement PC with no issues.
I'm on BIOS 5.21 which came with my new PC and it's working fine. However it took me 25 days approx to get the PC I thought I purchased up front.
I'm not saying that's right but for now my PC seems to be working.
