I unplugged my monitor in order to put a fan on me while I slept. Then I tried to turn on the computer the next day and realized that I had unplugged the monitor. I plugged the monitor in, but now nothing is working. I tried turning it off and restarting it, but nothing will work. I get the Hewlitt Packard blue screen, but then it beeps and the screen go dark purple.

Unplug both the PC and the monitor, press the power button on each for 5-10 seconds, plug them back in and try again. If that doesn't work, we'll need to know what model of PC and monitor we're working with.
