Hi Danjen,

 

I finally found out what the problem was.  It was the dedicated AMD Radeon 5450 graphics card that I installed!

 

I took the card out and switched back to onboard graphics and it booted instantly. 

 

I should have known, really.  I just overlooked the graphics card.
