HP Dv4 will not start up

I replaced my battery about a year and a half ago..a few months ago I started getting error messages that something was wrong with my battery. About 2 months ago, I rearranged my room and unplugged the computer and now I can not get it to power back on. It comes on for about 2 seconds then shuts right back off. Any ideas on what may be wrong?

TO EVERYBODY :
DO NOT BUY HP LAPTOPS THERE IS NO SUPPORT,NO CUSTOMER SERVICE,THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY AFTER THEY SELL A VERY VERY VERY BAD PRODUCT. WAS GIVEN A HP LAPTOP ONE YEAR AND ONE HALF AGO, HAD TO BUY, POWER CORD,HARD DISK AND NOW I GET A BLACK SCREEN, THE MOTHER BOARD IS FRIED. THEY DO NOT CARE ,THEY DO NOT RECALL THE PRODUCT I HAVE FOUND OUT HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM I HAVE. IS AN HP PAVILLION DV4. CALL THEM UP THEY SAY IS NOT THEIR PROBLEM. DO NOT BUY HP PRODUCTS!!!!!
