HP Pavilion a6720y BIOS Update (SOLVED)

I have a HP Pavilion a6720y, sometimes when I power it on I get no display. I read that there is a BIOS update that should help resolve this issue but the update is only for machines with Windows 7. This machine has vista. 

 

How do I go about getting the BIOS updated so that the PC boots everytime?

I just used the windows 7 update, it is compatible with vista!
