DEAR SIR,
I OWN HP Pavilion DV5 LAPTOP WITH WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMUIM 64-BIT.WHEN I ON MY SYSTEM A MESSAGE OCCURS THERE IS NO DISK & PLEASE INSTALL WINDOWS OPERATING SOFTWARE.PLEASE ADVISE ME.

Hi
You have a couple of options as I see it please find the steps given below might help you to fix your issue.
1) Once unit is power on keep tapping F10 key go to Diagnostic check if the Hard drive is detected then run the Test check if it Fails then you need to replace the part if the test passes then you need to reinstall OS.
2) If the Hard drive is not detected the reseat the Hard drive and have it check if you have the same issue then you might have to replace the Hard drive.
3) You have 2 options to run a recovery once is using F11 key or using the recovery disc before this kindly back up your data as it will be lost.
