Every once in a while it just gives me the BSOD and reboots. I tried resetting the Advaced setting in Internet Options. Stil does it. I have Win 7 Home Premium and use Firefox 12.0 Any ideas? This is a fairly new PC.

Hi,
What kind of online activities are you doing that might be contributing to a BSOD condition?
Please post the BSOD message.
Do the BSODs only occur when using Firefox?
Window 7 HP 32 bit or 64 bit?

Sometimes just browsing Craigslist sometimes when I check Facebook. 64Bit. I will stop the Automatic restart and read what the BSOD says. When I check Facebook I use IE everything else I do I use Firefox.

Hi,
You might consider reseating the PCI-E cards and the memory dimms inside your PC.
Boot into the bios and repeatedly run a full set of the diagnostics and see if that shakes out any issues.
Try this bootable memory diagnostic CD. Download memtest86 iso file and burn it to disk using Imgburn. Run 5-6 passes.
Your PC is still under warranty so contact HP Support. Be prepared to go through a full HP Recovery so get your data backup to external media and be sure to burn a set of the HP Recovery Disks.
HP's support number is 800-474-6836 or 800-HPINVENT or online here.

I was on the phone with HP last night for about an hour. The only thing they could come up with is the network adapter driver. So I downloaded a new(I think) driver and will give that a try. If not they are calling me back every 2 days and I will also do a full system restore. If that doesn't work I guess they will replace the PC. I have run Memory tests and other test with no problems. Remember this only happens while on-line.

Hi,
You might give the Support Assistant a go to run Network and Communication diagnostics.
Online might mean a lot of different things that could be an issue and not just the network driver. You might even be seeing a video driver recovery issue that is causing the reboot. It might even be a cabling issue causing transient network errors.
If you should do a full HP system recovery then don't install any other software until you can determine that your PC is stable or not stable.

Did the system Restore this morning. Only installed Printer,Firefox and AVG. And of course the 32 updates. Did a syste mbackup after that. So far no problems. I had a different BSOD this morning and that is why I did the system restore. The new BSOD was
age Fault in nonpaged area. Stop:0x00000050. I also have ran the Memory test and found no problems there.
