HP Pavillion 2 years old does not turn on!

I went on vacation adn disconnected my desktop to avoid any electrical surges or blackout problems. When I returned my desktop does not turn on.  I took it to Stapkles and they said if it doesn't turn on they cannot diagnose a problem.  It is not even 3 yrs old.  Please help. I purchased it form you diirectly.

When requesting help, you should always include the make/model of the computer and/or monitor. This information is necessary for us to review the specifications of them.

This sounds to me like a failed power supply unit (PSU).  Here is a guide to help you troubleshoot the problem.  It would help to know exactly what happens when you push the power button.  Also, have you checked all of the connections?

HP Pavilion slimline 3700 does not turn on, when I push the button nothing happens however the green light is on in the back.

It's a Pavilion Slimline 3700 and nothing happens when I push the on button, except the green light  in the back is on.

I have the same problem with my Pavilion slimline s3321p.  less than 3 years old.  It locks up and will not turn on but the green light on the back is on.  A yellow light sometime flashes from the power button.
