Hello everyone,
I own an HP Probook 4710s laptop for about 3 months now.
Recently I played Call Of Duty MW2 and after a while of playing it just shut down for no reason.
I played it before on my laptop but it didn`t shut down.
And just recently I played Age Of Empires 3 and it also shut down.
It happened twice with Age Of Empires.
Tho it never happened when I wasn`t playing games I`m still concerned and would appriciate any kind of help or explenation from anyone.
Thank you.

I have the same issue with my new Probook 6540b. Whenever I play Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, the laptop shuts down on its own after some time. Has anyone already found the answer?

Check your Event Viewer logs at the time of the shutdown and look for critical errors and events. It sounds like a heat problem.
You might want to check for a bios and/or a video card update here.

I am having the same problem, but I am not running any games or heavy software. Just email or working on an excel spreadsheet. It is reallt frustrating and really makes me nervous about my laptop. Any suggestions?
