Hello,
My pc will not boot up at all now. It has been running fine till the other day when I got a bluescreen STOP error. Before I could write down the code the computer tried to reboot itself. It won't even get to the option to go to safe mode now, the hard drive light on the front just flashes once when you turn it on then just sits there, screen blank, light solid. I am running Vista.
Any help would be awsome as I am Flexi-renting this pc and don't want to be paying off a computer I can't even use!!
Thanks
Pat
P.S. I didn't receive a Vista disk when i got the PC.

Pat1982,
You should still have a recovery partition on the hard drive.
When you first turn on the computer, press F11 repeatedly until system recovery starts. For more information read this:
If/when you get all that done, you should create a set of recovery discs and then do the steps in this article, to avoid possible future problems:
Please post rather than send me a Message. It's good for the community and I might not be able to get back quickly. - Thank you.
