Hi,
I have a SR2030NX. After all of my USB ports and card reader slots failed, I also mistakenly upgraded the BIOS (A8M2N-LA Naos GL-6 mb) to version 3.10 in an effort to try to fix the ports - and then trying to correct the video by uninstalling and installing Nvidia chipset and video drivers. Now my monitor stays black until XP boots up. I would like to bring the BIOS back to the original version if someone could please send me the instructions and file/s.
I'd also appreciate any advice on getting the USB ports working again. I tried to update the controller and hub drivers but I only see an 'unknown' device in Device Manager and all USB and card reader ports are dead. I put two PCI based USB cards in and can live without the onboard USB ports and card readers but I want to be able to get to the BIOS and into Safe Mode if/when needed.
Thank you in advance.

Try installing the newest chipset drivers.
Chipset:NVIDIA nForce 430

Can you post a screenshot of Device manager?

Thank you for your help. I tried all the latest video and chipset drivers from Nvidia already but I believe that the trouble is related to my flashing a wrong BIOS update that caused me to lose my monitor as the computer starts.
I downloaded the original BIOS ver. 3.0 from a link provided on this forum (Thanks again) and hope to flash it to drop back from 3.1 this weekend. I learned about this fix in the Hardware forum, where people were having trouble because they mistakenly upgraded their A8M2N-LA, Naos GL-6 BIOS to version 3.1and had similar trouble with lost monitor output during boot up. This MB only works with version 3.0 of the BIOS.
