Locked out of my computer

HP Pavillion dv6-617ous I turned off the swipe method on the computer. Now it asks for a password and if I had one I don't know it. How can I get back in?

Re: Locked out of my computer

Hi,

Enter the user account password or the admin password.   Might even try just hitting enter.

Re: Locked out of my computer

Hello,

In the event that you have lost all of your administrator account passwords, and you do not have a password reset disk available to change or restore the password, you will have to re-image your computer.

The above web-link has all the instructions about "Reinstalling the Operating System". This should help you.
