Ok, I'm starting to get multiple BSODS, varying messages. None are consistent. It can be two hours with no BSOD. All of the sudden my fan speeds up and BSOD. Then every 10 minutes, BSOD. Then the next morning, no BSODs. I had not installed any new programs or anything like that.
I called a tech guy who came over and suggested a factory restore. I built the discs and when I went to the F11 prompt, it wouldn't read the recovery drive. I would get a blank screen, and then back to the main menu. Sometimes I get the oxc000000f boot selection failed issue.
So I looked up a few things and someone suggested that the partition disk wasn't made available. I followed instructions to make it available via run compmgmt.msc
I selected the disk to make it available. I try the recovery again, and still not getting any good response from F11.
Any suggestions?

With the HP SystemRestore discs you must boot from disc 1. not from F11. F11 is for accessing the System Recovery manager, which you have stated is not working. Give the HP SystemRestore discs a try.
Once the power button has been pressed, you
have about five seconds to press [F1] to enter Setup before the boot process continues. You will have to go to the Boot section and change it to make sure that your CD/DVD drive is the first item to boot up.
