I have a e9180f that freezes when I play music or video. I have the Realtek HD Audio card. I think the sound card or the NVIDIA GTS250 video card may be the problem but I need an expert opinion. When I start playing music through iTunes, it sounds fine for the first few minutes then the speakers start to crackle, then popping, and then freezing-up all within a few minutes. It's the same when playing a DVD. The hard drive light still shows activity, but the monitor shows it's frozen, no mouse or keyboard action. The computer works fine if I don't play sound or video.

gmillerl44: Welcome to the club! Checkout the e9150T freeze thread on this board. There are 18 freezing 9180t's in there too!
You said, "The computer works fine if I don't play sound or video" Are you sure? For example, playing a slide show in media player won't freeze for you?
