Only fan motor runs

Hi ,  Today we had a power outage and after the power came back on only the fan motor on my HP Media Center PC with XP would run.  It won't boot.  Have unplugged everything and waited to reconnect and no change.  The fan motor roars away but no computer comes on.  What could this be and how to resolve?  Ronrz

Hi, which fan are you referring to? Power supply or cpu or case

What did you unplug?
