HP Pavilion 734.uk

Windows XP

It can't turn on past the Windows loading page because it comes up with a message saying 'This application failed to start because the cryptdll.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem". Then it just goes to a black screen - not alive but not turned off

It occured after my computer turned itself to the black screen when I was working on it so I turned it off at the plug because it wouldn't do anything. I then turned it back on and it turned on ok but then it turned itself off again. I turned it back on for a third time and it went to the blue windows loading page but then scrolled through a load of stuff on the screen to itself and now it just won't turn on.

I've seen things about reinstalling it etc. but I have no idea how to because it won't turn on for me to re-install

Please help!
