I just got my a6750f, and I've already had weird freezing/hanging issues. If I leave the computer on and the screen saver kicks in and runs for a while, when I move the mouse to get back working, the systems is frozen and I have to reboot. I've already had the issue when transferring data from my old PC to the new one. There's a large amount of data so I let the transfer run, and it essentially stops transfering data. I try to cancel but the computer ends up freezing and I need to reboot.
Am I wrong, or should this NOT be happening with a brand new computer?!?!?

Yes a brand new computer should not be locking up in theory.
You see what i did there " in theory "
However a multitude of things can cause a system to hang.
The most likely supsects tend to be RAM, Motherboards and infected files.
Which I have noticed in your post you have started transferring files across. Are you running appropriate virus scanning software?
Have you attempted to run the HP Diagnostic tools provided at Bootup?
Basically to diagnose your problem we require a few more details.
