We bought two HP Pavilion p6670t computers last spring. One is operating perfectly. The other started with problems and I started working with customer service on 4/10. Then again on 5/5 and 5/11 and 5/14. This probably took 3-4 hours of our time. The computer continually reboots at random times with no warning. On 5/17 I returned the computer and it came back with a new motherboard. The same problem persisted. On 6/17 I returned it again and they replaced something else. Despite our detailed information all they did was run diagnostic tests. The computer was returned and the rebooting persists. Next week we'll return it the third time, since HP refuses to replace this computer with a new one.
You can imagine our frustration and the disruption to our desktop publishing service. I can see us returning it another xx number of times. Not too efficient on HP's part,
John

It doesn't matter now HP has to take it back now. Best Buy's policy is three returns will exchange or refund your money. HP has a one year waranty just talk to sales manager where bought the lap top from have them exchange it.

I got the same problem on my P6670t... Have the Blue Screen of death every now on then. Since it comes so randomly, I have no clue what triggers the problem. My assumption is the motherboard. Have the agents do all the tests with me, and it all came back ok while I was on the phone. Three calls for the same problem over 5 months. Hopefully, they will take back my computer and replace the motherboard or something. My warrenty will be out in a short time, and I do not see the point to buy the extended warrenty if all I got was talking to the agent with no result. Sigh.
