Shut down/Sleep Mode

I have the HP model p6334f and have had it for about 3yrs now. Now the monitor goes into sleep mode and I have to push the power button till it turns off and turn it back on. Sometimes the computer is only on for about an hour. Sometimes it's on for more than two hours. I have brought the whole computer back to where i had purchased it but the tech didnt find anything wrong with it. I use this computer for games mostly and doin some web browsing. We have tired many things on how to fix this problme but it keeps doing the same thing after so many hours or days. So i was jus wondering if anyone knows why my computer does this?
