Wireless Keyboard and Mouse freeze occasionally

Hi,

 

I recently bought a HPE-185a. Great computer, just one problem:

 

Occasionally (about once every hour) the Mouse and keyboard will stop responding for 2-10 seconds and if you try to type or use the mouse, nothing happens.  The mouse and keyboard i am using are the ones which are shipped with the computer and use a wireless dongle to connect to the computer via USB.

 

Is this problem common and unavoidable? Any suggestions for fixing this?

My wireless mouse and keyboard keep freezing. Seems to happen intermittently. There is no relationship to the task I am doing it has happened whilst online, typing documents, gaming, on the desktop. 

I have tried to update drivers but none are avaialble on HP website.
