Strange issue:

 

User went to wake system and got black screen with cursor????  Cursor under mouse control???

 

Powered down and when powered up, comes to the same black screen with a cursor under mouse control???

 

How do you get a cursor with no OS boot?  Wireless mouse and keyboard

 

Omni 220

[serial number removed for privacy]

 

In service 1 month!

 

Any ideas short of shipping it back and havin individual with no system???

if you cant even get to bios I would suspect memory or motherboard failure.

might also try BIOS reset if it's possible without tearing the machine apart..
