computer wont start up

I have a how pavilion g6 notebook product number lh615uar#aba and the serial number 2mc1121njv when I start my computer it displays start normally or launch system repair when I start normally it just say window starting screen with windows symbol and want go pass that screen and when I do repair it just stays on the screen

Sounds like a hard drive problem.  Put the drive as a 2nd drive on another machine and run check disk on it.  Put it back in the machine and see if it will boot.

Then it is a bad hard drive.  Newer drives are harder to get the data off of because they have added information for that drive's characteristics for best performance but many times you can replace the circuit board with exactly the same one from an identical drive and recover your data.  Depending on what is wrong, some software programs can recover you data as long as the drive is recognized in CMOS (programs like getback ntfs).  If the drive spins, you can usually get something or all of the data back.  If it doesn't spin, the hard drive manufacturer's usual offer a recovery service but it costs around $1000.00.
