Hello. I have the HP Pavillion Elite. Everything was awesome until I installed an older game. The game was not compatable with Vista and it changed my settings somewhere/somehow. I uninstalled the game which by the way was Sonic DX: The director's cut.
I have other games installed such as the new Wolverine and prior to my install of Sonic the other games worked great. Now, when I start the Wolverine or Spider-Man Web of Shadows it appears that the resolution changes because my mouse gets HUGE and the screen goes black. This didn't happen until my install of Sonic. When I uninstalled the Sonic game I expected my resolution problem to go away but it didn't.
I need help. I called the free HP tech support and got a girl that could not wrap her mind around what I was telling her. She was very nice and if good intentions could fix my problem I would have been set however... they don't help.
Please help me resolve this.
Thanks in advance!
Ronnie

Thank you for the reply. I tried restoring and it was a no go. I tried downloading and updating drivers, directx and everything else that my computer could update. That was a no go as well. I called every compushop in my town and spoke with anyone who would listen and got nothing. I'm restoring factory settings and re-installing about 15 hours worth of software
Thanks again for replying!
Ronnie
