hp pavillion a1514n won't enter the bios

like the title says, I'm trying to boot from a cd but i can't enter the boot setup and change the bios.  I got a new hard drive erlier but it has a jacked up version of archLinux on it and i want to install ArchBang on the HDD but it keeps booting archLinux instead of the boot cd

Hi,

 

Have you tried to use F10 during bootup time ? Hit it repeatly few times after pwoer on the machine.

I believe it is the F1 key to enter BIOS on this model.Sart tapping it soon after powering on, just as the HP logo screen appears.
