Hello raytrammell,

You state that your computer goes to sleep but will not wake up, is that correct? I will try to help you with this issue.

Can you please provide the full model of the computer you have, If you are unsure where to locate that information have a look at this link  for help if needed.

Please respond back at your earliest convenience.

Thanks

HP Pavilion Slimline w/ windows vista. It will go to power save mode while in use. Have the settings set for never sleep and it continues to go in to power save.

Re: hp pavillion slimline windows vista power save mode

Raytrammell,

By chance have you hooked the monitor up to another computer to see if the problem continues on another device.

Also I am not able to pull up the information for the Slimline you have, I believe its missing a digit or two.

Please respond when you can.

Re: hp pavillion slimline windows vista power save mode

Raytrammell,

Thank you that is all I need.

Have you had the chance to hook the computer up to another monitor to test and see if the issue occurs.

Same with Dell monitor does the issue occur if you hook it up to another computer?

Trying to confirm if the problem is the monitor or the Slimline it.
