[ Edited ]

Hi, hope someone can help....when i'm in any web site and click on "contact",  lots of new wildows (tabs) keep opening ('bout 2/sec) and it wont stop till you hit "X" and quit without keeping tabs...if you keep tabs then open again it's still just opening more windows so you lose everything you have open...any help appreciated...

Hello bubblebutt, This description seems very much like a certain virus that has appeared on the Internet in the past.

You might try running your anti-virus application, and also Malwarebytes that can be found Here .

Select the Free version on the left side of the screen.

Re: keeps opening new tabs non-stop when you click "contact" on a website

Dear Ms bubblebutt,
  I'd like to help.
My research says you have  IE 8 installed and your OS is  Windows 7 Starter (32-bit) in

this HP Mini 110-1160SA  NETBOOK. Which specific website have you been viewing

while (whilst) this event is happening? Is it the same thing if   you go to hp.com/uk ?

Have you added any new software? Have you connected any new hardware? Is it the same when you

use either Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome,or any other browser?

What kind of antivirus software do you have  in this NETBOOK? What's the name of  your

ISP (internet service provider) ?Please let us know more details.
Best Regards,

Re: keeps opening new tabs non-stop when you click "contact" on a website

Dear Ms bubblebutt,
 Please do the following:
1> Go to a perfectly working computer and access the website:

support.microsoft.com/kb/308446

2> Do what it suggests to do.
3> Post back and let me know what happened. I had a customer with the same problem and the solution worked.
Best Regards and
Have a nice day.
